THE SOTO METHOD

The SotoMethod is a mix of cardio and sculpting movements designed to maximize burn and efficiently deliver a full-body workout.

SOTO stands for Sixty on. Ten on.

We fire up each muscle group with a 60-second isometric hold; then we sustain that burn through a series of 10 dynamic movements. And we move on.

That same isometric hold becomes your active recovery. We optimize your time through intentional transitions: as one muscle recovers, the next one ignites.

SotoMethod is an inclusive space for people of all backgrounds and fitness levels to build strength and endurance. It is a time-based practice that taps into our mental fortitude.

After a decade-long career in finance, Hilary Hoffman turned her focus toward developing a highly efficient fitness regimen for anyone deeply committed to self-improvement but strapped for time.

SotoMethod was born out of one of Hilary’s greatest professional strengths: helping top achievers access their best possible performance.

Currently, I work as both a wellness entrepreneur and corporate recruiter in the tech space - so I understand the value of taking time to focus on your mental and physical health. MEET KATIE

"Hi Soto Community! I am Katie, I am originally from sunny LA and have been in NYC for the past 12 years. I am a professional dancer turned fitness instructor. I have been working in the fitness industry for nearly a decade, teaching pilates and strength training to my clients. Pilates is my first love and I will always remain loyal to her, so you will absolutely see some pilates infused movements in my class. 

I may look sweet and bring my ray of sunshine personality to every class, but I am sure to deliver you a spicy, well thought out, full body burn.  Don’t let this smile fool you!

I am so grateful for this opportunity to connect and move with you. I always say how lucky am I that my job helps people feel good about themselves and their bodies through movement.  Can’t wait to make every second count!"

"Hi Soto Fam! I am so humbled and grateful to be a part of this amazing community. I’m a proud sober woman, a dog mom to two mini labradoodles, and a Marine Corps veteran. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been an athlete. Soto Method is one of the most athletic fitness modalities I’ve ever experienced as both a client and a trainer. 

Soto Method entered my life during a time when I was stagnant and comfortable in my professional life as an instructor. I was on cruise-control and wasn’t inspired by anything going on in my life. Soto “entered the chat” & everything has exponentially improved since my first 60 second isometric plank hold. 

 I’ve taught at many high-end fitness boutiques and I can proudly say that no other modality compares to Soto. There is nothing that quite compares to an isometric hold in arms following a high-intensity cardio block, an all-4 series that makes your legs quiver for the next three days, or that final 20 push.
